Feb 27, 2007 · the dc motor is a 2hp motor and the dc speed control has a tachometer feedback. there is no loss of rpm/torque down at 200 rpm where i do most of my pipe threading.as for as cost goes i would say it may be a washout but if you got already a good sized dc motor then check if your speed control has the tachometer feedback.
